BAKER Christopher Chrissie - Only the Gentle are Truly Strong. A child was born on 11th April 1951. Christopher, Chris, Chrissie, Cook, Crisp, Pops, Papa, Dadad - would hate this, such a very private man. Truly reserved, wonderfully kind, loving, funny, unassuming guy with the sweetest soul. A gentleman who said 'excuse me' in his sleep right up to the evening of 17th March 2017. Our hero, our shining, gentle, star, Chris's amazing qualities and his demeanour, made him all the more interesting, which was somewhat powerful in a very quiet way. Men liked him, women well... lol and children adored him. Service at Trinity Church, Abingdon on Friday 24th March at 10.30am. Donations if desired for SeeSaw (Child Bereavement Service), c/o Edward Carter (FD), 107 South Avenue, Abingdon, OX14 1QS. Chrissie, you gave us endless, constant, tender love and for this we thank you. Remember, once the game is over, the King and the Pawn go back in the same box.
