GUY Gretta (Margaret Mary) Peacefully at Fairfield Residential Home, Friday 27 April, aged 101. With family by her side through her short illness, Gretta received outstanding care from wonderful staff at Fairfield and from Dr Drury and the King Edward St Practice. Devoted wife of the late Jack Guy. Beloved Mother of Peter and John. Loving Grandmother of Simon, Clare, James, Thomas, David and Katie; Great Grandmother of Matthew, Jason, Maisie and Jules. Originally from Shrule, Co. Mayo, Gretta loved her Summertown home; she was fascinated by people and their life stories, openly honest, and much-loved by all. Requiem Mass Friday 18 May 10.45am, Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Crown Road, Wheatley, OX33 1UL, followed by committal at Wolvercote Cemetery 12.30pm. Reception of Gretta's body into the Church: Thursday 17 May, 6.30pm. Family Flowers only.
