OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(STADHAMPTON - CHALGROVE AREA) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above Orders under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order will amend the schedules to the Oxfordshire County Council (Stadhampton - Chalgrove Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2012 and replace it. The effect of the proposal is to extend the length of the 30mph speed limit on theA329 Newington Road southwards by 167 metres, reducing the existing 40mph speed limit by the same amount.

Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting: https://consultations. oxfordshire.gov.uk, or in person at County Hall, Oxford, OX1 1ND, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday and at Benson Library, Castle Square, Benson, from 2 to 6pm Monday, 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5pm Tuesday and Friday, 2 to 7pm Thursday and 9.30am to 12.30pm Saturday. Objections to the proposals specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 24 August 2018. The Council will consider any objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. B4009 CHINNOR ROAD (KINGSTON BLOUNT) -PROPOSED TRAFFIC CALMING CHICANE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council

proposes to construct the following traffic calming measures under the Highways Act 1980 section 90 on the B4009 Chinnor Road in Kingston Blount at the following location:

Kerbed chicane build-outs: (each will be approx. 7.5m* long by 2.3m* wide). The first build-out exiting the village will be on the south side of Chinnor Road approx. 30 metres* south-west of its junction with Kingston Hill, with the second build-out approx. 9 metres* further south-west, on the northern side of Chinnor Road. Priority being given to traffic travelling south-westwards out of the village.



* All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the feature. This proposal also replaces the one that was put forward in September 2017.
