Global sales of the Cowley-built Mini grew by 6.6 per cent in November, latest figures from parent company BMW show.

A total of 25,077 cars were sold during the month and in the first 11 months of the year, sales have increased by 6.7 per cent to 272,773 vehicles.

The car was a major contributor to the 170,932 BMW cars sold during the month, 23 per cent higher than the same month last year.
