Defence and security firm Westminster Group based in Banbury has won a £1.89m contract to supply hi-tech scanning equipment to an undisclosed location in the Middle East.
The technology will be used to scan lorries entering a high security oil and gas plant to scan for contraband and security threats. The order is expected to be delivered in the summer.
Chief executive Peter Fowler said: “The contract is significant, not only in terms of revenue but also in terms of future business potential.”
