A branch of NatWest in East Oxford will close next year due to a significant drop in use.
The NatWest branch at 189 Cowley Road will close on March 16 as a result of a 30 per cent drop in transactions since 2010.
A 200 per cent increase in online and mobile transactions has dominated NatWest’s business in recent years, the company said.
People who do not use online or mobile services will be able to use local post offices free of charge.
The High Street branch of NatWest will remain open.
