Tickets for the Oxfordshire Business Awards have now sold out, more than two weeks before the event is due to be staged.

All 500 tickets have been snapped up with organisers now arranging a waiting list of eager firms and individuals wanting a place at the county’s highlight of the business calendar.

Paul Lowe, chairman of the awards committee, said: “Last year’s event was the best ever with almost 500 people attending and with the current economic climate we were expecting numbers to be down.

“But this year all the tickets have sold and we have had to organise a waiting list in case anyone drops out and we can re-allocate their place.”

The Oxfordshire Business Awards take place on June 19 at the Four Pillars Hotel, Sandford.
