The Oxfordshire Business Awards Sponsors Committee has announced the creation of a new Sponsors Award.
The category will be known as the Oxfordshire Business Awards' Lifetime Achievement Award and will be presented to the individual judged to have made an outstanding contribution to the county’s business scene.
Paul Lowe, chairman of the Awards committee, said: "This is a an innovative idea that has come about from the sponsors seeking to recognise an outstanding contribution made by someone to an Oxfordshire business or Oxfordshire business life.
“Nominations for this award shall come from sponsors only and already many well known names have been put forward."
The award will be presented along at the awards Dinner on Friday, June 18 at the Four Pillars Hotel, Sandford.
