An informal networking event for professionals is being held in Oxford.

Organised by accountants Grant Thornton, it is aimed at the established and rising managers of the Oxford professional community.

Having had a successful launch which attracted more than 50 people, organisers are confident it will become a regular date on the business calendar.

Mark Fieldsend of Grant Thornton said: "The emphasis is very much on having a few informal drinks with the added opportunity to make some useful business contacts."

It will be held at the Camera bar, 28-31 St. Ebbes Street, Oxford OX1 1PU on May 20 from 5.30pm onwards.
