A free seminar updating delegates on changes to employment law and health and safety legislation will take place on Friday.

The event, hosted by employment law specialists Peninsula and Chapman, Robinson & Moore, will offer advice on new laws such as the Equality Act and is open to managing directors only.

Peter Done, managing director of Peninsula, said: “The main aim of the free seminar is to increase employer’s awareness and knowledge of new and existing regulations. We hope this will allow businesses to understand the implications on their business of employment law and health and safety if it is not dealt with correctly.”

Mr Done added: “Employers are wasting a lot of valuable time dealing with red tape, which is affecting their performance as a business because they cannot fully focus on their core competencies. The seminar will advise employers on how to cut through the minefield and avoid being prosecuted, saving time and money.”

The event will take place at the Begbroke Science Park, Yarnton OX5 1PF on November 12 and runs from 9.30am-12.45pm.
