A building once part of the former Oxfam premises in Summertown, Oxford, has been completely refurbished. Mayfield House (below) has had a full refit costing £1m, including the office interiors, new shop frontages, plus enhancement and finishing to external areas.
Scott Harkness of marketing agent Carter Jonas said: “In an economic downturn there is the temptation to cut corners on finishes.
“But the specification has been significantly enhanced to provide a truly grade A-star building.”
The works have included new street furniture and paving while the retail units, which house new tenants Penny and Sinclair estate agents, and Harvey Jones Kitchens, have been extended and include modern full-height glazing.
Inside, communal areas have marble walls and Italian tiling, while the office areas have high quality carpeting, a single ceiling grid with air conditioning, together with contemporary kitchen/breakout areas.
There are two individual offices available on the first and third floors, providing a range of floor areas of from 2,400 to 9,400 sq ft.
