Four months after their actual opening in July, staff at Davis Tate estate agent in Abingdon managed to down tools from their busy schedules and host an official opening drinks and canapés evening.

Director Stewart Simpson and his team were joined by joint managing directors David Tate and Matthew Davis, along with other senior managers of Davis Tate and current clients and colleagues.

Mr Simpson said: "The office has got off to a fantastic start listing over 50 local homes, with 2012 already looking very promising."

Davis Tate was set up more than 20 years ago, and now covers 14 core areas throughout Berkshire and Oxfordshire, including nine High Street branches.
