Accountants and business advisers Grant Thornton has appointed Nick Ashley as senior tax manager at its Oxford office.

Mr Ashley, has a wealth of tax experience and previously worked at the firm’s Norwich office for nine years.

He said: “This is a great opportunity to continue providing both private and business clients with a quality tax service. I look forward to helping clients deal with the ever-changing legislation and providing solutions to their tax concerns.

"Relocating to Oxford was particularly appealing as the city and its rural surrounds combines both the entrepreneurial and agricultural sectors. I have experience and a keen interest in both these areas."
