WOODSTOCK: The Real Wood Furniture Company has been presented with the Investors in Education award by the Oxfordshire Business Education Alliance. It was presented to Chris Baylis, owner and founder of The Real Wood Furniture Company, in recognition of "a particular and distinctive contribution to education in Oxfordshire".

He supports Woodstock’s Marlborough School and has been a regular participant in Business Breakfast Meetings organised by the school, which regards him as ‘a key business and community link’. He is chairman of ‘Wake up to Woodstock’, an association of local traders founded six years ago to promote the town.
