HUNDREDS of Oxford pupils jumped for joy during a day-long sponsored skip.

Children at Windale Community Primary School skipped on Wednesday to raise money for their PE fund and for the British Heart Foundation.

The event was planned by the Blackbird Leys school’s pupil council and teacher Nicky Mackintosh.

Felix Flinders, 10, right, said: “I think it’s really good.

“We are skipping for a good cause, 80 per cent is going to the British Heart Foundation and 20 per cent to school PE equipment.”

Six-year-old Kimora Gandye, left, said: “I think it’s going to be fun because we are doing it for a good cause. I like skipping, we have been practising at school.”
