26 weeks gone
4:56pm Tuesday 2nd September 2008 in Bump Blogs By Sonya
26 weeks gone, 14 to go and we’re in September!!! Since the beginning I’ve said, once we hit the months ending in –er, we’d be almost there and here we are in September already!!! I am getting so excited now as time is flashing past. I read the “caring for your newborn” section of my book last night which made everything feel very real and it’s amazing to think that in 3 months, that will be us. I cannot wait to do all those mummy things like bathing baby, soothing him, breast feeding and even nappy changing!!
Not much else to report other than I’ve now got sausage fingers with all the water retention, baby’s kicks are getting harder and loo trips more frequent! My back is aching from sitting at a desk all day. I’ve swapped to a more posture friendly chair at work so hopefully my back will be able to go for longer before it starts to throb. It’s just being at work that effects my back as when I’m more active at the weekends and able to lie/slob on the sofa with lots of pillows, my back is fine. At least I’m still managing to reach the keyboard!!!
