Sonya Eade is 32, and having her first baby, which is very much wanted and planned for, something she always feels she needs to clarify as people seem to wonder as she's not married.
The professional recruitment consultant from Cowley is 19 weeks pregnant with a very distinctive bump and is currently trying to find a suitable name and surname for Spud or Pip, as it's been named
in the meantime.

32 1/2 weeks!!!!
I am at 32 ½ weeks. Have been really busy of late sorting everything out. It is amazing how much one little person actually needs. Recent purchases have included nail scissors, travel changing mat, moses basket and non-biological washing powder!!

Boxes and Bump
Our moving day is Friday! Everything is upside down and we’re surrounded by boxes. Obviously packing takes 100 times longer than you’d imagine so every evening after work, we’re frantically packing – I’m exhausted!!

Standing room only at my scan
This week I’m 21 weeks and I had my scan. I last had my scan when I was 14 weeks and to see the changes in baby is incredible – he has grown so much.

Hooray for air con and fans
Hooray for air conditioning and fans!! I can’t imagine life without them now. I wish England would adopt the very civilised tradition of siestas when the weather is this hot. The reduced energy levels when you’re pregnant are tough at the best of times but in this heat, everything is even more of an up hill struggle. Would they notice if I slid under my desk for a couple of hours at lunch time?!
