House prices have continued to rise in Oxfordshire, bucking the national trend.
Latest figures from the Government’s Land Registry show the average price of a county property in August was £242,808 a rise of 0.4 per cent on the previous month.
The last time the figure rose to that level was in May 2008 and values have increased by £6444 in the last year.
Nationally, house prices showed no percentage increase at £163,376.
