Soft and round with that velvety, fruity style that somehow only the Chileans seem to be able to produce – a classic Merlot.
Rio Alto Classic Carmenere 2011, Aconcagua Valley
Carmenere is fast becoming Chile’s signature premium grape variety since it was realised that many vineyards that were thought to be Merlot turned out to be this characterful grape instead – lovely juicey wine!
Nostros Pinot Noir Reserva 2011, Casablanca Valley
Smooth textured medium bodied Pinot Noir from the cool climate Casablanca Valley with good complexity and touches of raspberries and cream.
