Drank too much over Christmas? Spent too much? Giving up drinking as your New Year’s resolution? Cheer up – it might never happen!
There’s always time for a soothing glass of wine. But not expensive wine – we do understand that you’ve spent too much. Why? Because so have we and we’re on a budget. So here’s a case of good value wines that won’t break the bank to help you on your way…
The New Year's mixed case is available at a special discounted price of £63 (normal price £74.52) and includes three bottles of each of the following four wines:
Umbrele Sauvignon Blanc 2012, Romania
One of the top selling wines at our huge Annual Wine Fair were from the ultra modern Calusari in Romania – which goes to show how if the wine is good one shouldn’t worry about where it’s from. Very good fruity Sauvignon Blanc.
Santiago Chardonnay 2012, Chile
This is one of the most consistently good value for money wines that we sell and never fails to please with its ultra fresh up front fruit – lovely wine.
Rochebaron Selection Rouge 2012, France
Classic Southern French style made from Grenache, Syrah and Merlot giving lovely soft plum fruit flavours with a touch of spice.
VSE Merlot 2012, Chile
Ripe, rounded plum fruit with a hint of spice combine to produce a really tasty wine that is wonderful with grilled meats and mushrooms and especially pasta dishes.
