There is a strong Spanish flavour in this recital by exciting young duo Natasha Sachsenmeier (violin) and Alissa Firsova (piano), including Poulenc’s Violin Sonata, Szymanowki’s Notturno e Tarantella and Sarasate’s Introduction and Tarantella, as well as Bartok’s folk-inspired Rhapsody No.1 and Prokofiev’s lyrical Violin sonata No.2 in D. Opportunity to see two rising young stars in action.
