It’s been a busy 2015 for celebrities – and we are only in August.

As Declan Donnelly and Guy Ritchie become the latest stars to tie the knot, Gwen Stefani, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are among those who have decided to call it a day and end their marriages.

We take a look at some of the stars who have made their love official, those who have broken up and those who have welcomed babies in the past eight months.

Marriages

Declan – one half of TV presenting duo Ant and Dec – and his manager Ali tied the knot at St Michael’s Church in Elswick, Newcastle, on August 1.

They were joined by celebrity friends such as Marvin and Rochelle Humes, Paddy McGuinness, Tess Daly and Vernon Kay, and Phillip Schofield as they celebrated at a reception in a marquee, decorated in red and white roses, in Belsay, Northumberland.

Guy Ritchie and Jacqui Ainsley

Director Guy and Jacqui finally became husband and wife when they married on July 30 at Ashcombe House in Wiltshire.

The couple turned their wedding (#jaxguyjuly) into a three-day extravaganza, complete with onesies, a beach party and even the first official screening of Guy’s new film The Man From U.N.C.L.E, with guests such as David Beckham, Jason Statham, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Armie Hammer and Henry Cavill.

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan

Mark and Michelle made their union official as they wed at St Mary’s Church in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, before a reception at Hengrave Hall estate nearby on May 24.

Former Coronation Street star Michelle wore a backless bespoke ivory wedding gown by Galia Lahav at Browns Bride, adorned with French lace and Swarovski crystals, which she had a hand in designing.

Kevin Clifton and Karen Hauer

It was the Strictly Come Dancing wedding of the year, as Kevin Clifton and Karen Hauer tied the knot on July 11.

The couple were joined by many of their friends on the BBC One dance show including fellow professional dancers Brendan Cole, Janette Manrara, Aljaz Skorjanec, Joanna Clifton and Robin Windsor, and stars such as Susanna Reid and Frankie Bridge.

Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner

The former Spice Girl said her I do’s when she married Christian, who’s the team principal of the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Formula One team, at St Mary’s Church in Woburn, Bedfordshire, on May 15.

Geri kept details of her wedding a secret, only letting out little details bit by bit on the actual day on her Instagram account.

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden

Good Charlotte frontman Benji took one of Tinseltown’s most eligible singletons off the market when he put a ring on her finger.

The couple married at the actress’s Beverly Hills mansion in front of guests including Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow and Drew Barrymore.

“We couldn’t be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends,” they said afterwards.

The Sherlock star went down the traditional route while revealing his upcoming wedding to the theatre playwright and actress by making an announcement in the Forthcoming Marriages column in The Times in November.

The couple – with Sophie pregnant with Benedict’s baby – married at the Church of St Peter and St Paul on the Isle of Wight, with a reception at Mottistone Manor on Valentine’s Day.

Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian

Brian and Arthur got the Irish wedding they wanted after the country approved of same-sex marriage.

The Big Brother star and his long-term partner married with a second ceremony on July 30, after legally tying the knot in London earlier this year.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard

Johnny and Amber, who met on the set of The Rum Diary, married on February 3 in a private civil ceremony at their home in Los Angeles.

Stephen Fry and Elliott Spencer

The funnyman met his match when he married stand-up comedian Elliott on January 17 in the Norfolk town of Dereham.

Births

It was a double whammy for Benedict and Sophie, who not only became Mr and Mrs Cumberbatch, but also became parents when the stage star gave birth to their son.

A spokesman for the couple said: “Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son.”

Keira Knightley and James Righton

Keira and her musician husband James welcomed a baby girl on May 26, according to reports, although they have yet to confirm it officially.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel

Justin and Jessica became first-time parents when the Total Recall actress gave birth to son Silas Randall Timberlake in April 2015.

Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik

Zooey and producer Jacob, who married in a secret ceremony, are new parents to a healthy baby girl. No further details have been given at the moment.

Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch

Abbey and Peter welcomed their second daughter Liberty Rose on June 1. She follows her elder sister Sophia Ruby, who was born in March 2011.

Jaime King and Kyle Newman

Jaime and Kyle’s moment was outshone by Taylor Swift, who couldn’t resist posting a photo of herself with their baby – and her godson Leo Thames, who was born on June 16.

He is the couple’s second son, after one-year-old James Knight.

Jack Osbourne and Lisa Stelly

Jack and Lisa welcomed their daughter Andy Rose on June 13. They are already parents to three-year-old daughter Pearl Clementine, and had a miscarriage with their son.

Break-ups

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale announced they are calling time on their marriage after 13 years.

The Hollaback Girl singer and the British rocker – who have three sons: nine-year-old Kingston, six-year-old Zuma and 17-month-old Apollo – said in a statement: “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment.

“To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time,” they added.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

Ben and Jen, who have three children together, decided to call it quits a day after their 10th wedding anniversary on June 29. But they have been photographed with their wedding rings on.

In a joint statement, they said: “After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding.”

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron

Sean and Charlize, who began dating in December 2013 after being friends for years, were engaged and due to walk up the aisle. They broke up around May, with the Oscar-winning South African actress reportedly calling off the engagement.

Nicole and Lewis’ on-off seven-year romance finally came to the finishing line in February 2015, and it wasn’t just a pit stop.

The former X Factor judge later revealed: “Sometimes people stay in relationships because they get complacent, because it’s comfortable for them, because they don’t want to be alone. It’s a new chapter in my life. I’m going through a very transformative time in my life.”

There have been reports that the couple, who married in May 2010 and are parents to two-year-old son Alfred, have separated, although there has been no official word as yet.

Sheridan and Greg are rumoured to have ended their romance, after the Cilla actress hinted she had been left heartbroken after being “hurt by an idiot boy again”.
