A capella

FORK

New Theatre, Oxford

Wednesday, March 27 n Call 0844 8713020

This Finnish foursome recreates every beat, note and instrument known to man so you’d swear there were instruments on stage, and yet every sound you hear is produced live by the human voice. And with a great mix of contemporary songs to match from Coldplay’s Viva La Vida to Gaga, Queen, Madonna and Michael Jackson, no musical stone is left unturned.

It’s kiddie heaven this week for your smalls, with two superb offerings at the BT. Monster in My Piano is an offbeat jazzy tale with puppets, clowning, animation and a very highly strung monster indeed, for ages 4+, while Arthur’s Dream Boat is so enchanting that everyone will want to sail away with Arthur in his, yup you’ve guessed it, dream boat, especially those age 3+.
