Didcot house raid court case adjourned

THE case of a man accused of pouring petrol over another man in a dawn raid on his Didcot home was adjourned yesterday.

Robbie Sinclair had been asleep when he was allegedly set upon by a gang who beat him up before dousing him in petrol.

Police later charged John Harrison, 42, of Park Close, Didcot, with causing grievous bodily harm with intent in connection with the attack.

He had been due to enter a plea yesterday at Oxford Crown Court, but the hearing was adjourned.

Harrison was told that it would take place on December 3, with a trial possibly starting the following week. He was remanded in custody.
