THE streets of Woodstock are adorned with graffiti, paintings and clay sculptures for its annual art festival this week.
Art in Woodstock also features exhibitions and talks at venues around the town.
Over the weekend, children were able to paint canvases to decorate a pyramid and hunt for hidden clay sculptures and pavement artist Rod Cleasby created a 3D pavement painting in the Market Square.
The festival, which opened on Saturday, runs until Sunday.
Woodstock resident Mark Aston, 42, said: “It was nice to see different things in our home town, seeing places being changed and things exhibited.”
His daughter, Molly, eight, said: “I enjoyed looking for the sculptures. There were millions and I couldn’t find them all.”
Paul Mortimer, chairman of Art in Woodstock, said: “What we’re trying to achieve is to create an important art festival in this region.”
