Man hit over the head in car park

CARTERTON: A 28-year-old man was hit over the head with a weapon when he was attacked by four men in their late teens.
The assault happened between 6.30pm and 6.45pm on Sunday in the car park behind the library off Alvescot Road.
He was treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital for cuts to his neck and head.
Details were only released yesterday when the police appealed for witnesses.
