A HIKER who was arrested naked in Carterton will spend Christmas in prison.
Stephen Gough, 43, was walking from the Scottish border to his mother's home in southern England when he was arrested and charged with outraging public decency.
Oxford Crown Court today heard an application for Gough, in his absence, to be released on bail before his next court appearance.
But Gough, of Chamberlayne Road, Eastleigh, Hampshire, was refused. He is due to return to court on January 25.
