Video: Flooding in Wytham

THIS video from reader Steve Roe shows the flooding in Wytham today.

Mr Roe posted the video of cycling through water in Godstow Road with a few of the county's rural roads suffering flooding.

He said it was almost a foot deep.

The Environment Agency has said today it has "no immediate concern" about flooding in Oxfordshire today.

  • The Oxford Mail is posting this video only for information purposes and does not recommend any driver goes through flood water. The Environment Agency says you should avoid driving through flood water and two feet of water is enough to float a car.

Actually, this video shows flooding on the road outside of Wytham - this road floods regularly and deeper than shown during a normal winter. Hardly a flooded village.
