COLOURFUL Christmas trees adorn the inside of a church at a festival to raise cash for the building’s restoration project.
There are 20 trees which have been sponsored and decorated by businesses, individuals and groups on display with the large church tree at St Olave’s Church in Fritwell.
More than £1,200 has been raised so far by the festival and visitors can see them at the church in North Street until January 5.
Pamela Hand, 64, pictured, from Fritwell, who is on the church’s fundraising committee, said: “We are holding a festival of trees to start a fund for works to our 12th century church.
“We need decent heating, lighting and especially water for the church.”
