Stolen Oxford dog 'pregnant'

OXFORD: The dog stolen from its homeless owner may have been pregnant, it was claimed last night.
Scooby, a female brown and white four-year-old Australian Kelpie, was taken from owner Carl McDonald while he slept on the porch of St Giles Church in Oxford just before Christmas.
Janet Butler, who runs West Oxfordshire Animal Rescue Centre in Botley, said she knew Scooby and believes she is pregnant.
Ms Butler said: “I think she is pregnant. She’s a lovely dog. We’re are all very concerned here about Carl and Scooby.”
