Tribute match for rugby dad

Teammates of a rugby players who collapsed on the pitch and died say there will be a tribute match for him before the end of the season.

Jason Laman died on Saturday, while playing as a fly-half for Wheatley Rugby Club.

Mr Laman, 42, had lived in Wheatley and Holton all his life and played for the village rugby team for two decades.

First VX captain James Pollard said: “There are plans to do something before the end of the season.”

A date for Mr Laman’s funeral has not yet been set.
