WHEATLEY: A man pretended to be run so that his accomplice could steal a handbag from a motorist who went to the ‘victim’s’ aid.
The incident happened in the car park of Asda in London Road, Wheatley, at about 2.45pm on Saturday.
A man, described as white, in his mid 50s feigned being hit by the vehicle as the woman reversed out of the parking space.
