LOVE is in the air at Oxford’s Story Museum where sweethearts can make their own Valentine’s card using centuries-old techniques.

The Pembroke Street museum’s Bodleian Hand-Printing Workshop is to run two classes for lovebirds to make their own romantic artwork.

Bodleian Library print specialist Dr Paul Nash is to hold the classes on the evening of Tuesday, January 29 and Tuesday, February 5. The technique sees an image cut from lino and inked along with metal type.

Dr Nash said: “If you have printed something yourself it is obviously more personal it is much closer to you, you have made it with your own hands.”

The museum is to also host family print workshops on February 23, March 30 and April 27.
