Teenager beaten up
12:00pm Tuesday 15th January 2013 in News
An 18-year-old man was beaten in a Witney alleyway by two thugs in an apparently unprovoked attack.
At 9.10pm on Thursday, January 3, the victim was walking through the alleyway between Fettiplace Road and Fieldmere Close when he was approached by the pair.
They repeatedly punched him in the face before running off towards The Rowing Machine pub in Fettiplace Road.
He suffered a bruised and swollen forehead, left eye and cheek.
The attackers are both described as white, 5ft 10in, medium build and were wearing dark coloured hooded tops.
Pc Phillip Wood said the attack appeared unprovoked. Details were not released for a week until police issued an appeal for witnesses.
