HERE’S one old bird who definitely isn’t looking her age.
Sky is an 18-year-old peregrine falcon housed at Wheatley Birds of Prey.
Jayne Jones, who runs the centre with her husband Clive, believes she is the oldest peregrine in the country.
She said: “In the wild they usually live between six and eight years and Sky is going to be 19 in April. “We have had her for nearly 15 years and she is like a member of the family.”
