A house can be built on a former builders’ yard site in East Oxford after a bid was successful.
Oxford City Council has granted planning permission for the three-bedroom house on land to the rear of 9 Saunders Road.
The applicant also wants to put in bin and cycle storage space and a vehicle turntable on the forecourt.

In the sad case when Mr Young passes away, it will be interesting to see if planning permission for Mr Young's land is granted to the new owner.
And yet City Council consistently refused Martin Young planning permission for his old Headington house, and the wasteland site he bought in Littlemore. Like Mr Young or not, has he been treated shabbily by City Council?
