The traffic lights at the Botley Road and Ferry Hinksey Road junction failed for the second time in two months yesterday.
The lights failed at around 6am, and Southern Electric engineers worked throughout to have the lights back on by 5pm.
In November the same set of lights were knocked out for four days by flooding.
