THE A34 is shut northbound following a serious crash near the Milton Interchange.
Two lorries are reported as being involved.
It would appear one of the trucks has run into the back of the other. The cab of the truck that was following was badly damaged.
A police spokesman said the southbound carriageway is open but slow moving. He advised motorists to avoid the area.
It is not known yet whether anyone is injured.
