People convicted of offences at magistrates' courts in Oxfordshire recently:

Ashton Penny, 25, of Derwent Close, Shippon, Abingdon, admitted using words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Bath Street, Abingdon, on December 8. Fined £400 and told to pay victim surcharge of £40 and £85 costs.

Daiusz Kapala, 36, of Westholm Court, Bicester, admitted damaging the skirting on a Stagecoach double decker bus in Bicester Road, Kidlington, on September 15. Fined £400 and told to pay £500 compensation, £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Paul Armstrong, 33, of Minchery Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, St Clement’s Street, Oxford, on December 13. Given a nine-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £35 costs.

Daniel Burbridge, 27, of High Street, Culham, admitted driving with excess alcohol. He had 82 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath in Windale Avenue, Oxford, on December 13. The legal limit is 35mcg. Fined £180 and told to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 costs and banned from driving for 20 months.

Nicole Blackman, 20, of Northcourt Road, Abingdon, admitted stealing makeup and confectionary worth £12 from Poundland Abingdon on November 7; a £2.29 bottle of Sprite from Budgens, Northcourt Road, Abingdon on October 5 and beating Muhammed Rashid, Zoe Clarke with Kerry Reevs and Alison Heals on October 20 at an address in Great Western Drive, Didcot. Ordered to pay £2.29 compensation for the drink theft and a total £125 compensation for the assaults. Community order made for 180 hours unpaid work.

Kerry Reeves, of Banbury Court, Abingdon, admitted beating Zoe Clarke with Nicole Blackman at an address in Great Western Drive, Didcot, on October 20 and damaging the inner door handle of a police car worth £250 at Abingdon police station on the same day. Told to attend a 12-day course and remain at home from 7pm to 7am every day until April 2 and pay £75 compensation to Zoe Clarke.
