Man charged with making hoax calls

A 23-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with making hoax calls to emergency services.
Thames Valley Police said Lewis Atkins, of Thorpe Street, Aston Upthorpe, Didcot, made persistent calls to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety.
The charge relates calls made to police on Sunday, November 18, related to incidents in the Newbury area, which turned out to be false.
He will appear before Newbury Magistrates’ Court on February 6.
