OXFORD: No date has been set for a second hearing into alleged inappropriate comments made to a schoolgirl by Lord Mayor Alan Armitage, .
Last Wednesday’s standards committee meeting was adjourned after Mr Armitage, right, said he wanted to contest the findings of a report about his conduct.
The committee was due to decide in private whether or not the Lib Dem councillor had breached the councillors’ code of conduct.
At the time, city council legal chiefs said a second meeting would be held within five weeks.
