POLICE want to speak to three people after a pensioner had £400 stolen during a suspected con trick.
The victim was inside the Halifax Building Society, in Sheep Street, Bicester, when he was targeted.
It is believed that two men and a woman confused him and obtained his PIN.
His bank card was stolen and £400 taken from his account.
The 69-year-old was not hurt.
Pc James Waterson said: “This is a cowardly crime as the offenders deliberately targeted this elderly gentleman with the sole purpose of trying to steal from him.
“I would like to remind everyone, that when using a cash machine make sure you are aware of who is standing near you and that no-one is trying to look over your shoulder.”
Anyone with information about the theft, which happened on January 7, should call the police on 101.
