GENEROUS children and parents have donated their old toys to a good cause.

Jessie Onions, two, and her brother Flynn, four, played with some of the items dropped into Snakes andLadders in Audlett Drive, Abingdon.

They were joined by Pete the Panda.

Customers of the indoor adventure centre have been supporting the charity toy donation scheme which is in its second year.

It is in support of Oxford hospice Helen & Douglas House, which will sell the goods in their charity shops.

Duty manager Lowry Ross-Williams said that the centre had been inundated with toys.

Mrs Ross-Williams, 26, from Abingdon said: “We have had loads of toys in. Absolutely bin bags full. I’d say we have about 15 to 18 bin bags full in total.

“The majority of our customers have brought something in with them. It has been great.”
