TWO hundred homes in the Cowley Road area are without power after a fault in the underground cable network.
Power was lost to about 50 homes about 8.30am today.
Southern Electric cut power to a further 150 at around 1.30pm in order to fix the problem safely.
All 200 are still awaiting reconnection to the grid.

At least the people affected by the powercut in the Cowley Road area of Oxford have homes, unlike those who were promised housing by Oxford City Council when it bulldozed the former Cowley Community Centre in Barns Road - and have not yet delivered one home, let alone electricity! No use blaming the developer or other people Cllr Price, the failure is all yours!
