Power protest three plead guilty

THREE Oxford people were among 21 protesters who have pleaded guilty to aggravated trespass after trying to halt the construction of one of the UK’s new gas-fired power stations, police said.
Daniel Chivers, 34, David Shakespeare, 27, and Claudia Comberti, 26, appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday following the incident at the EDF Energy West Burton power plant last October.
They will be sentenced in March or April.
