Burglars kick down door in Headington

Two men kicked their way into a house in Headington early this morning.

The burglars kicked open the front door of the home of a 33-year-old man in Broad Oak, at about 12.40am.

The resident disturbed the intruders, who left without causing any injuries or taking anything.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said officers believed the break-in was an isolated incident.

The force has not yet released any description of two men.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information should call Det Con Laura Mabbott on 101 or call Crimestoppers on an anonymous basis on 0800 555111.
