Police talk man down from Westgate car park roof

A MAN who was threatening to jump from the Westgate centre car park in Oxford was talked down by police after just over an hour of negotiations.
Roads around the car park, including Speedwell Street and Castle Street, were cordoned off while officers dealt with the incident.
The area is currently being cleared and cordons around the roads lifted, a police spokeswoman said.
