ROADS police conducting safety checks on schoolbuses handed out nine warnings in Banbury yesterday.
Officers from Bicester Roads Policing Department and the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency were at Banbury Academy in Ruskin Road as part of Operation Coachman.
Of 12 vehicles checked in total, three were taken off the road immediately, four were given advisory notices for minor defects, and two got delayed prohibitions for minor defects.
