Van fire causes queues on M40

A Mercedes van on fire stopped traffic on the M40 southbound near Banbury this morning.
The fire service was on the scene at 9.39am between Junction 11 for Banbury and J10 for Brackley.
The blaze in the Mercedes Sprinter, which was parked on the hard shoulder, was extinguished, and all lanes reopened just before 10.45am.
Queues are now expected to clear quickly.
