Boat stays sunk

A BOAT which broke free of its moorings and sank at Osney Lock in Oxford in the November floods will have to stay there for at least two more weeks.

Environment Agency spokesman Joe Giacomelli said: “We will be removing the vessel once river flows are down to a safe level.

“It won’t be safe for another couple of weeks.”
